Senior & Principal Data Engineer - AI start-up 4 Big Pharma - €50k-€87k

Industry: AI software for Pharma, start-up - heavily backed by a global investor

Workplace: Hybrid - 2 days per week

Offices: Barcelona or Madrid

Our client, the AI tech firm, are changing the world of Pharma, their AI is literally flying off the shelf and the leading Pharma's in the market are knocking on their door as nobody else can do what they can. Come and join this rocket-ship, be part of something that is genuinely improving the world around us, using Artificial Intelligence.

We need engineers who have actual knowledge of how databases work, such as partitions, indexing, data modelling. It would also be useful if you are able to use macros in DBT.

Tech stack / experience needed:

• Python
• Data tooling, Airflow, DBT
• Hands-on SQL
• AWS
• Docker; Kubernetes
• PhD or Masters in Engineering or Mathematics

You'll be working closely with Data Scientists, joining a fast-paced, Agile, start-up environment, where there won't be a whole load of processes, which some will find difficult and others will thrive in....we hope you're the latter!

The position can be based in either Barcelona or Madrid.
