Job Description
Reporting to the Partnership Specialist, the Partnerships Trainee is responsible for managing the daily operations within the promotions area and ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and aligned with the team's objectives. This candidate will be the go-to person for all promotion’s activities on a daily basis. Along with the Promotions Coordinator they are responsible for designing a promotions strategy for every release. They will be responsible for ensuring the plan is executed efficiently, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality, and staying within budget.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordination of creative materials and communication guidelines for promotions with third parties.
- Coordination of information flow to potential partners and existing partners.
- Responsible of briefing and following up with the promotional agencies for promotional items related to each film. Ensuring the cost/quality/timings adhere to company and compliance standards.
- Coordination of slate presentations to potential partners and Trade partners/Exhibitors.
- Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks within the promotions area, including handling legal matters and managing the creation and processing of purchase orders.
- Execute screening programs as a key part of the promotional strategy of specific titles. Coordinate with other areas such as Sales and Technical/Dubbing for the correct development of the program.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the Promotions Database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of third-party and potential partner data, with a focus on thorough and detailed tracking.
- Coordination of the proper estimation of the media value of any cross-promotion activity.
- Execution presentations for pitching partners or reporting promotional activity.
- To collaborate closely with the Promotions Coordinator to create regular briefings for promotional agencies, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring sustained engagement in promotional activities.
- Follow up promotional deals to ensure that the partner/ exhibitor/media keep their commitments.
- Prepare Promotion Overview Forms and Promotion Approval Forms.
- Together with the Promotions Coordinator, follow up with other company divisions to create synergies and coordinate promotional activities.
- Coordination of meeting agendas
- Forecast and delivery of Merchandising and prizes (tickets, previews, gadgets, etc) plus shipment coordination.
- Knowledge of media and interest in new trends/brands
- Proactive, communicative and a strong team player
- Creative and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Studies must have been completed no longer than 3 years ago
