Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic IT Lead to drive our Channels, Customer & Data Tech delivery strategy, joining our CIO Domain as part of the CIO MT (management team), reporting to the CIO for ING Spain & Portugal.

The responsibility of this team consists of coordinating the technical strategic direction across the Channels, Customer & Data delivery domains, defining and implementing standards and processes, leading the team across a broad portfolio of projects and initiatives. The tribes under this scope are Everyday Engagement, Human Connection, Customer Interactions, Data Management, Know Your Customer and Internal Customer.

You will be leading a group of senior IT managers, and you will play a critical role in their development as future ING leaders. You will have to create a culture of collaboration, transparency, responsibility, and excellence, helping other to be successful, staying a step ahead and guiding engineering managers in your team to improve and grow.

You will work hand by hand with Tribe Leads to guarantee a consistent delivery across different tribes, aligning business and technology priorities, realizing each tribe purpose and exercising a collaborative leadership.

You will be successfully implementing recovery strategies for project crisis situations.

Your key responsibilities:

As IT Lead you will:

• Be responsible for ensuring the overall IT maturity and for developing craftsmanship of the employees working in your respective domain.
• Provides high-level strategic guidance to the IT Area Leads on development of engineers.
• Ensure IT Area Leads have appropriate competencies and skills by continuous improvement of their skills, craftsmanship and the area of expertise.
• Oversees overall IT maturity in areas and chapters and drives continuous craftsmanship development.
• Ensures consistency in craftsmanship development to maintain a well-balanced engineering workforce.

Your Role And Work Environment

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Credit Risk Officer to join our Credit Risk Team Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal (based in Madrid).

The responsibility of this team is the advice and decision making of tailored (lending) transactions for our key WB Sector and Lending clients and supporting these clients in their success whilst safeguarding the risk appetite of the bank. The credit risk managers have a deep understanding of credit structuring, credit risk and businesses & markets, next to the assessment of related risks like ESG, compliance and climate risk. In addition to the asset-by-asset approval process, the Credit Risk Team manages the portfolio on the strategic direction in terms of risk appetite and portfolio steering in sectors and products. It is also engaged in other initiatives covering the wider credit strategy of ING (sector analysis, risk appetite direction, Leveraged Transactions, reporting, climate change).

Our way of working is dynamic, closely working with local Front Office and other Risk Managers across the bank, covering several sectors (a.o. Energy, Infra, Food&Agri, TMT, Real Estate) and products (a.o. Acquisition Finance, Project & Object Finance….). Focused on taking responsible credit risks, stepping in for each other where needed. The timelines of requests are usually demanding hence flexibility and a ‘can do‘ mentality is important. The team consists of 6 FTE. Your position will be based in Madrid, and you will report to the team lead.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Credit Risk Officer, you will be responsible for advising and managing client transactions from origination to closing from a credit risk perspective, in balance with a sound commercial sense. Recommending (to the final approval authority) or deciding on credit risk proposals of different sectors and products within ING’s risk appetite. This includes the assessment of credit quality of customer (internal rating), analysis of business model, transaction structure, review of historical financials and business plan. Ensuring the quality, policy compliance and consistency of the credit application prepared by Front Office. Review of the final documentation to make sure it meets approval conditions.

You will further be responsible for proactive portfolio monitoring (anticipating and managing risk migration), for ensuring ongoing compliance with ING internal policies, regulation and controls. You will also participate in local and/or global projects, and actively provide input in relevant risk policies and reports;

Technical Skills

Able to perform sound financial analysis of individual and consolidated accounts on large and mid-sized Corporates under different accounting principles (IAS, IFRS).

Sound knowledge of cash flow-based modelling and sensitivity analysis.

Knowledge of Corporate Banking products and transaction structures (including term loans, revolving credit facilities, factoring, confirming, performance and financial bonds, letters of credit) as well as acquisition finance structures.

Sound understanding of different sectors / industries dynamics; key aspects of regulatory frameworks (incl. Basel IV); assessment of customer competitive position within its industry.

Experience in reviewing all legal documentation for transactions alongside Front Office and Legal Advisors.

Understanding of key credit risk metrics: RWA, EAD, LDG, ECL, etc.

Fluent English (read, speak, and write).

Estamos buscando un Oficial Senior de Riesgo de Crédito talentoso y entusiasta para unirse a nuestro Equipo de Riesgo de Crédito de Banca Mayorista España y Portugal (con sede en Madrid).

La responsabilidad de este equipo es el asesoramiento y la toma de decisiones de transacciones (préstamos) a medida para nuestros clientes clave del sector del BM y de préstamos y el apoyo a estos clientes en su éxito, al tiempo que salvaguarda el apetito de riesgo del banco. Los gestores de riesgo de crédito tienen un profundo conocimiento de la estructuración crediticia, el riesgo de crédito y los negocios y mercados, junto con la evaluación de riesgos relacionados como ESG, cumplimiento y riesgo climático. Además del proceso de aprobación activo por activo, el Equipo de Riesgo de Crédito gestiona la cartera en la dirección estratégica en términos de apetito por el riesgo y dirección de la cartera en sectores y productos. También participa en otras iniciativas que abarcan la estrategia crediticia más amplia de ING (análisis sectorial, dirección del apetito por el riesgo, transacciones apalancadas, informes, cambio climático).

Nuestra forma de trabajar es dinámica, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con el Front Office local y otros Gestores de Riesgos de todo el banco, cubriendo varios sectores (entre otros, Energía, Infraestructuras, Alimentación&Agricultura, TMT, Bienes Raíces) y productos (entre otros, Financiación de Adquisiciones, Financiación de Proyectos y Objetos...). Enfocados en asumir riesgos crediticios responsables, interviniendo unos a otros cuando sea necesario. Los plazos de las solicitudes suelen ser exigentes, por lo que es importante la flexibilidad y la mentalidad de "sí se puede". El equipo está formado por 6 FTE. Tu puesto estará basado en Madrid, y reportarás al líder del equipo.

Sus Principales Responsabilidades

Como Oficial Senior de Riesgo de Crédito, será responsable de asesorar y administrar las transacciones de los clientes desde la originación hasta el cierre desde una perspectiva de riesgo de crédito, en equilibrio con un sólido sentido comercial. Recomendar (a la autoridad de aprobación final) o decidir sobre propuestas de riesgo de crédito de diferentes sectores y productos dentro del apetito de riesgo de ING. Esto incluye la evaluación de la calidad crediticia del cliente (calificación interna), el análisis del modelo de negocio, la estructura de la transacción, la revisión de las finanzas históricas y el plan de negocios. Garantizar la calidad, el cumplimiento de la política y la consistencia de la solicitud de crédito preparada por la Oficina Principal. Revisión de la documentación final para asegurarse de que cumple con las condiciones de aprobación.

Experiencia profesional: >10 años (equivalente a un VP senior / Director junior en FO) en Banca Corporativa / Lending.

Habilidades Técnicas

Capaz de realizar análisis financieros sólidos de cuentas individuales y consolidadas en empresas grandes y medianas bajo diferentes principios contables (NIC, NIIF).

Sólidos conocimientos de la modelización basada en el flujo de caja y del análisis de sensibilidad.

Conocimiento de los productos de Banca Corporativa y estructuras de transacciones (incluyendo préstamos a plazo, líneas de crédito renovables, factoring, confirming, bonos de rendimiento y financieros, cartas de crédito), así como de las estructuras de financiación de adquisiciones.

Sólida comprensión de la dinámica de los diferentes sectores / industrias; aspectos clave de los marcos regulatorios (incluido Basilea IV); Evaluación de la posición competitiva del cliente dentro de su industria.

Experiencia en la revisión de toda la documentación legal de las transacciones junto con la oficina de recepción y los asesores legales.

Comprensión de las métricas clave de riesgo de crédito: RWA, EAD, LDG, ECL, etc.

Inglés fluido (leer, hablar y escribir).
