The position of the Translation Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of all projects assigned to the individual
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and abide by individual project instructions
- Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally
- Negotiate with vendors
- Coordinate with quality personnel to ensure that the translation perfectly complies with instructions and is linguistically perfect
- Communicate any issues/problems/caveats or additional
- Distribute information to sales staff as soon as that information is available
Required skills and experience:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective time management
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment.

Overview:
The position of Project Coordinator is a key player at TransPerfect Translations. Project Coordinators execute all projects from start to finish and serve as a single point of contact/accountability for their successful completion. This is a unique opportunity in a financially stable and rapidly growing international communications services company.
Description:
- Confirm clarity of instructions prior to initiating project workflow, liaising with Account Executives/Client Services to modify/correct project instructions/parameters as needed
- Coordinate with Account Executives/Client Services to educate/advise clients regarding the best way to accomplish their goals for individual projects
- Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists in order to maximize profitability and project completion speed
- Use computer assisted translation tools whenever possible to maximize consistency and profitability
- Use appropriate reference materials/glossaries as needed to maximize consistency and quality
- Communicate any issues/problems/delays/additional information to Account Executives/Client Services on an immediate basis and work to troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Effectively liaise with other departments that are essential parts of the project workflow (for instance, Quality Managers, Desktop Publishing, etc.)
- Perform a Final Eye quality check and issue a quality score for the Quality Manager prior to sending a job out
- Return completed projects to Account Executives/Client Services/delivery platform on time or early
- Bill projects completely and accurately within 24 hours of project completion, complying with all appropriate regulations and processes
- Establish and maintain working relationships with contract linguists located around the world
- Consistently give both positive and negative feedback
- File compliance reports as needed for substandard work performed and work with Quality Assurance to impose appropriate financial sanctions in those cases
- Investigate/resolve client complaints, problem solve and work with Quality Assurance/Management to ensure that appropriate systemic changes are implemented to ensure that any problems that occurred cannot be repeated
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
- Ability to maintain professionalism and focus under pressure and tight deadlines

Position summary:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and committed Human Resources Assistant to join our global HR Team and to provide local administrative support principally to our offices in Spain.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic company comprised of leading professionals who work in an inclusive, multicultural environment. You will be given the chance to gain experience across multiple areas within the Human Resources field in a highly reputable, fast-growing company.
Position responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the department’s daily Human Resources operations and handle general office duties such as organizing files, drafting letters, etc.
- Be responsible for beginning to end on-boarding process for new joiners or re-hires (employees and interns), including preparing or requesting employment contracts and other necessary documents
- Conduct new hires Orientation Sessions
- Respond to basic Recruitment queries about employment conditions, salary structure, and eligibility to work
- Respond to New Hires queries about employment conditions and provide support in onboarding related questions
- Responsible for beginning to end exit process for leavers: ensure exit procedure is properly completed (relevant paperwork prepared, inform payroll team on a timely manner…)
- Absences and leaves: answer related queries; administer employees’ leave and attendance, ensure all information and required supporting documentation are submitted to payroll team on a timely manner
- Responsible for Contract Renewals and Changes
- Learn and assist with maternity, parental and paternity leave processes
- Ensure that the HRIS system (Workday) and other databases and trackers are up to date at all times, prepare reports when needed
- Manage the HR inbox and act as the first point of contact to employees writing with queries
- Provide support and assistance in general HR projects and initiatives
- Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager / supervisor
Essential skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Professional working proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Previous experience in an Administrative or Customer Service role
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work with tight deadlines to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain professionalism at all times
- Good knowledge of MS Office
Desired skills and experience:
- Professional working proficiency of additional languages
- Prior experience working with HRIS software (Workday)
