BCN Peptides is a biotechnology company supported by a motivated scientific team and dedicated to research and manufacturing of peptide-based pharmaceutical medicines.

We are seeking an enthusiastic scientific person to lead the development of new peptide drugs for treating pain and cancer among other therapeutic indications. who will be responsible for the successful management of preclinical and clinical drug development aimed at completing the dossier of new peptide drugs.

The candidate will work closely with the responsable of the R&D preclinical&clinical area and other members of BCN Peptides’ team.

Job duties include:

• Liason with external researchers and CROs in preclinical and clinical studies.

• Managing and writing of the documentation needed for clinical trial development (protocols, IMPD, IB, etc) in compliance with EU regulation and liaising with European Medicines Agency.

• Ensuring that reports, deliverables, and milestones are completed in a timely fashion and at high quality.

• Overseeing competitor-related drug developments and scientific research aspects.

• Contributing experience and know-how to the rest of the team.

Professional experience

• Research experience in an international environment.

• Previous experience in project management.

Education and training

• University degree in life sciences or related fields, preferably with a PhD degree.

• Knowledge of chemistry and peptide chemistry.

• Knowledge of molecular, cell biology and/or immunology.

• Understanding of the concepts of preclinical and clinical drug development.

Languages

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Command of spoken Catalan.

Technical skills

• Strong IT skills (Excel, , Power Point, online communication tools).

• Statistical knowledge: theoretical and practical (GraphPad, R programming).

• Knowledge of project management and good writing ability Competences.

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

• Good team player with the ability to work independently.

• Analysts, precise, with attention to details, and well organized.

• Proactive, flexible, and have problem-solving attitude.
