Develop and implement activities related to the promotion, sale and distribution of company products in foreign markets. Define export strategy and propose adaptations needed in products and services for marketing in local target markets.
Functions and responsibilities.
• Handle prospecting in foreign markets • Obtaining sales projections and controlling sales progress.
• Supervise administrative activities related to customs procedures.
• Import licenses in receiving countries, international transportation and similar aspects.
• Propose modifications in sales policy in general and the marketing mix in particular to ensure optimal suitability for the various markets under his/her responsibility.
• Select, train and supervise local distributors, agents and the general sales force, setting up appropriate motivational activities
• Prepare solid reports for headquarters and senior management to allow market tracking and budget control.
• Identify and anticipate risks and opportunities in the area of influence.
• Deep knowledge about market, competitors, pricing, opportunities... be able to build a comprehensive business plan.
• Report on information required to manage the company to top management
