Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a talented Freelance Podcast Video Editor and Recording Expert. This is a freelance position that will require the person to be based in Madrid for the days of filming.

Role Summary:

As a Freelance Podcast Video Editor and Recording Expert, you'll play a pivotal role in our production process. Your responsibilities will include filming podcast episodes, editing content to meet our quality standards, and publishing episodes across various platforms. Additionally, you'll produce engaging social media content to promote our podcast. This role requires a blend of technical skills in video production and a creative mindset to enhance our podcast's reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Film podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio and video production.
• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. This includes camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
• Manage the complete post-production process, including editing, color grading, and adding music or sound effects.
• Publish episodes across various platforms, ensuring each episode meets platform-specific requirements.
• Produce creative and engaging social media content, including teasers, trailers, and promotional clips, to enhance audience engagement and growth.
• Collaborate closely with our production team to align on content themes, production schedules, and marketing strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in podcasting, video production, and social media promotion to continuously improve our content and processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing and podcast production, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Strong proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and audio editing tools.
• Experience handling and operating film equipment, with a keen eye for lighting, shot composition, and sound quality.
• Creative thinker with excellent storytelling abilities, capable of translating ideas into engaging visual and audio content.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with a remote team.
• C1/C2 Advanced proficiency English level
