Offer DescriptionIdiPAZ selects Senior Laboratory Technician with previous experience in translational and clinical research to join the translational research group in childhood cancer, hematopoietic transplantation and cell therapy led by Dr. Antonio Perez Martinez.

The IdiPAZ Health Research Institute is a partnership between the Hospital Universitario La Paz, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Healthcare Advisory Council of the Community of Madrid and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of Hospital Universitario La Paz, which will be the managing body of the Institute.

In 2021, the scientific production of IdiPAZ included more than 1,600 publications, with 43% being original research and review articles.

Researchers have shown participation in national and international scientific networks.

Since our formal incorporation as an Institute in 2009, we have been implementing measures that have laid the foundations for a new organizational culture based on equality, diversity and non-discrimination.

Previous accredited experience in experimentation with immunosuppressed murine models.Experimental animal handling training (Functions A, B and C).Previous experience in flow cytometry.Previous experience in immune system research.Specific Requirements:

Higher Degree In Anatomic Pathology And Cytodiagnostics Or Higher Degree In Clinical And Biomedical Laboratory.Previous Work Experience In Molecular Biology/molecular Oncology And Cellular Therapies Laboratories.Good Command Of Spoken And Written English.The Selected Person Will Perform The Following Functions

Processing of patient blood samples, as well as samples derived from solid tumors.Management of the patient sample database.Work in cell culture: suspension and adherent cells, organoid/tumoroid culture.Performance of cytotoxicity and CAR T potency assays in the context of clinical trials and research.Laboratory organization and logistics, inventory maintenance.Ordering and administrative management.Knowledge in preparation of buffers and cell culture media.Training of trainees in basic cell and molecular biology techniques.Good communication and teamwork skills.Languages ENGLISH Level Good

Additional InformationINDEFINITE CONTRACT FOR SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ACTIVITIESProfessional category of Degree, Group III, Area 2, according to the collective bargaining agreement.Full time of 37.5 hours per week.Gross annual salary: 21,852.99€Private matters: 6 working days per year.Vacation: 22 working days per year.December 24 and 31 are non-business days.Eligibility criteriaThe selection process will consist of two phases and the following scale will be applied, out of a maximum of 10 points:

Training and curricular merits: 6 points.Personal interview: 4 points.In the event of a tie, the candidate with a certificate attesting to a minimum degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent shall prevail.
