Are you interested in making an impact on local, national and international level, all while working in a team of motivated internationals? Does your field of study relate to business, international business, business administration, marketing, education, communication, social sciences, humanities or something alike? And are you looking for an internship where you will be able to learn and simultaneously gain valuable experience? Then an internship at Ikigai might be perfect for you!
About us
The Ikigai Institute is an Entrepreneurship Centre dedicated to empowering young people, including immigrants and disadvantaged individuals, through training. It focuses on creativity and digital innovation, digitalizing content, and developing online platforms. The institute promotes European civic participation, intercultural dialogue, youth entrepreneurship, and personal development. It aims to enhance leadership, emotional intelligence, and soft skills, while supporting integration and equal educational opportunities. The Ikigai Institute’s experienced team specializes in managing European projects, creating dissemination strategies, and offering online training, with a commitment to innovation and collaboration in training development.
About the internship
We have proudly hosted students from across Europe through the Erasmus+ Traineeship Program, offering scholarships for internships that boost digital, entrepreneurial, and leadership skills to meet today’s job market needs. Participants gain hands-on experience in drafting and managing EU-funded projects, identifying calls for proposals, forming partnerships, developing training content, and handling marketing, communication, and public relations. They also have the chance to deliver presentations in English.
We are seeking students and recent graduates for an exciting, internationally focused internship starting in September 2024. A minimum English level of B1 is preferred. Joining us means diving into real-world project management, connecting with national and regional institutions, and guiding clients toward innovation in EU project planning—all while being guided by experienced professionals.
As a Project Technician, your tasks will include:
● Drafting European Union-funded projects
● Managing European projects and executing activities
● Identifying calls for proposals and forming partnerships for European projects
● Researching and developing training course content in our areas of expertise
● Undertaking marketing, communication, and public relations responsibilities
● Delivering presentations in English
Compensation of the internship
With regard to compensation: it is important to mention that we do not provide financial compensation. Interns must therefore have a grant to cover their costs of living, for example the Erasmus+ grant for international students.
Duration of the internship
The minimum duration for the internship is 3 months. However, whether you are looking for an internship of 3 months or for 6 months, there are possibilities for you within our company. We are looking for interns that can start on or around 01-12-2024.
