Magicbox is seeking a talented and passionate 3D Designer to join our creative team, responsible for developing a variety of toys, including characters, vehicles, playsets, and large-scale environments. This is a mid-level role requiring both technical expertise and artistic flair. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the entire development process, from initial blocking and modeling to final product renders, while collaborating closely with our technical engineering team to develop prototypes and bring the product to production readiness. A strong command of both organic and hard surface modeling techniques is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
-Create quick, rough models (blocking) for toy concepts, including characters, vehicles, and playsets.
Finalize highly detailed 3D models, translating the final concept art into 3D, capturing all nuances and design elements.
-Utilize 3D printing to prepare physical models and prototypes.
-Develop mock-ups to explain and validate toy concepts, using 3D printing as well as traditional materials such as paper and cardboard.
-Prepare technical documents required by the engineering team to develop prototypes and final products, ensuring that the product development process runs smoothly.
-Prepare final product renders for use in packaging and marketing.

Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a 3D modeler in animation, video games, or physical product development.
-Experience in the toy industry is not required but valuable

Skills & Qualifications:
-Proficient in 3D modeling software with the ability to translate 2D designs into 3D models (like: Blender, 3DsMax, Maya, ZBrush, Keyshot,.. and others)
-Strong artistic ability for both soft surface and hard surface modeling.
-In-depth knowledge of rendering techniques and processes.
-Familiarity with 3D printing is a significant plus.
-Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment throughout the product development process.
