Product Designers at North work across boundaries, owning all design aspects of entire projects throughout research to user experience and visual design. They are deeply user-centered, and enjoy spending time understanding user needs and business goals as much as crafting a creative solution.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Product Designers at North work across boundaries, owning all design aspects of entire projects throughout research to user experience and visual design. They are deeply user-centered, and enjoy spending time understanding user needs and business goals as much as crafting a creative solution.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Working together with Partners and Product Managers to understand business goals and key metrics and define how they translate to design.
- Doing your own research and conducting user interviews to validate concepts.
- Collaborating closely together with clients, through rounds of feedback.
- Creating prototypes and designing high-fidelity interactions.
- Keeping an extraordinary level of attention to detail at every step of the process to provide an outstanding execution from conceptual thinking to interaction and visual design.
- Ability to communicate design rationale to clients. You can articulate the ‘why’ and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions.
- Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including understanding when and where different methodologies and techniques should be incorporated into the design process.
- Knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and prototyping tools. Big plus if you have experience with motion design or illustration.
- Effective, confident and concise written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & English).
- Have launched side projects of your own.
- Enjoy working outside of your comfort zone.
- Have passion for trends and developments in design & technology.
- Have experience in consulting or working with corporate clients.
- A hybrid work from home/office system with a flexible time schedule.
- if you do happen to want to come to the office, there will always be fresh fruit, coffee and snacks.
- Macbook Pro 13” or similar.
