Role Purpose :
To support the continued growth of TCL and to develop our multi-channel strategy; we are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to join the Spanish team and operate in the B2B channel.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Open Market. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the key accounts within our B2B customer base, whilst also identifying and developing new customers and sales channels, within the area.
The KAM will also be responsible for achieving revenue, profit and volume targets in each of their key accounts, their channel as a whole, whilst proactively managing communication with internal colleagues and following company processes.
Ultimately, the candidate should be able to facilitate communication with both internal and external customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, develop and maintain consistent contact with several key accounts, that will in turn generate the majority of the B2B sales.
- Maintain relationships and information flow with the c.300 x TCL customers in the B2B base, with mixture of direct and indirect communication.
- Identify and develop new customers and sales channels within the B2B area.
- Ensure all customers are aware of, and have access to the current roadmap of products, commercials and support.
- Effectively manage distribution, alongside colleagues, and maintain strong and effective relationships with all.
- Develop a B2B plan that works toward long-term, sustainable success.
- Maintain our company culture of respect, trust and represent our brands and our business professionally.
- Work harmoniously with colleagues and prioritise internal relationships.
- Continually develop product and category exposure
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring customers’ requirements are met
- Collect and analyse sales data, developing and achieving sales plans
- Liaise with Product, Marketing and other internal teams to successfully launch new products
Requirements:
- Able to work within a diverse team
- Comfortable presenting company and product roadmaps to customers of all levels
- Recent experience in sales and / or customer service – ideally with knowledge of the Spanish B2B channel
- Good understanding of sales performance metrics
- Analytical thinking and ability to identify opportunities
- Able to think strategically and with a view to long-term stability and success
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude toward solving problems
- Ability to work as part of a closely-knit team
- Self-motivated
- Willing and able to travel most days
