We are currently recruiting for a Security Culture and Awareness Lead, reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance, to help transform Tunstall’s approach to cyber security.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join Tunstall as we embark on an exciting period of transformation. You will be joining a recently created and growing global Information Security team within Tunstall and will be in a leadership position playing a key part in the success of this transformation.

This role would be based at our Madrid office working on a hybrid basis. We are flexible on number of days in the office, and on location and would consider applications from people who can work at one of our other European offices (Malmo (Sweden), Whitley (UK) or Manchester (UK)).

What will you be doing in this role?

As our Security Culture and Awareness Lead, you will be in a leadership position, focused on transforming Tunstall’s approach to cybersecurity, promoting best practices, fostering positive security behaviours and leading security training and awareness programmes to boost our workforce’s security skills and knowledge.

Your mission and challenge are one of the most relevant in Information Security, as you take the lead on initiatives to create a security-first culture across our complex multinational organisation.

You will define and implement an enterprise-wide, risk-based strategic security culture, awareness and training transformation plan, including communication strategy to ensure our messages are effectively communicated and understood across all levels of the organisation.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you will have considerable experience working with cybersecurity teams, including previous experience of leading security training and awareness programmes in multinational organisations. You will have a background and knowledge about cybersecurity, cyber threats and market trends.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You will be an effective speak and presenter, used to speaking at conferences, events, or internal events and training sessions. The ability to translate complex concepts into an understandable narrative is vital to the success of this role.

Some of your key tasks will be…

  • Define and implement an enterprise-wide, risk-based strategic security culture, awareness and training transformation plan. The plan will include a communication strategy to ensure our messages are effectively communicated and understood across all levels of the organisation,
  • Create, deploy and evolve plans to upskill hardware, software and systems engineers and developers in security matters, considering local needs but ensuring a consistent approach across countries,
  • Use solutions and technologies in the space of human risk management, training and awareness to boost the skills and abilities of all Tunstall colleagues to properly manage cyber risks, e.g. phishing,
  • Regularly provide talks and webinars to our colleagues and technology teams to keep them engaged and aligned with our mission,
  • Define and implement KPIs and metrics to measure progress made,
  • Report and participate in senior-level forums, fostering collaboration and priority alignment,
  • Contribute to create a culture of security by communicating and raising awareness about security risks,
  • Keep a constant innovative, challenging and constructive attitude towards continuous improvement,

Key Skills And Experience

  • Considerable experience of working with cybersecurity teams,
  • Previous proven experience of leading security training and awareness programmes in a multinational organisation with demonstrable results,
  • Background and knowledge about cybersecurity, cyber threats and market trends,
  • Experience as speaker in conferences and events,
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into an understandable narrative,
  • Ability to manage complexity and make decisions with limited information or under uncertainty,
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or non-technical discipline or have equivalent experience,
  • You must be able to communicate effectively in English (ie CEFR C1).

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Spanish or Swedish language skills
