About the Company:

Our client is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, committed to driving Spain’s transition to clean energy through innovation, cutting-edge technology, and strategic partnerships. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a VP of Sales to lead and drive their sales strategy in the region.


Job Summary:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s commercial strategy, securing key partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in sales leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy.
  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring high performance.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring profitability and long-term client relationships.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, policy changes, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales goals with project execution.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy market and key industry players.
  • A track record of closing large-scale deals and securing key partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate sales teams to exceed targets.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel within Spain and internationally as needed.
