WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

BASF aims to further enable Digitalization for Production. The primary objective is designing and supporting the implementation a comprehensive and robust security architecture for digitalization of production and technology.
This includes identifying vulnerabilities, explaining the globally binding security requirements, and enabling product owners to protect their critical infrastructure and assets from cyber threats.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Apply and uphold cyber defense fundamentals
• Provide expert advice and go side-by-side with product owners
• Be on top of recent global developments and trends around technologies, regulations, politics & ethics
• Stay informed on the threat landscape, incidents and adversaries´ TTPs
• Well connected to expert networks
• Adapt to deliberate enterprise decision-making processes
• Be familiar with processes and corporate requirements of our ISMS including GRC
• Enhance cybersecurity by developing methods using AI

QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree in Computer Science, informatics, business informatics, engineering or in a comparable field.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
- You are familiar with the ISA99/IEC62443 Network Level Model and/or ISO 27001/27002
- Patience and diligence in deliberate environments
- Self-Management
- Be on top of recent global developments and trends around technologies, regulations, politics & ethics
- Stay informed on the threat landscape, incidents and adversaries´ TTPs
- Well connected to expert networks
- Trusted Communities are important to you. Trust over performance is key to your values.

NICE TO HAVE

- Fluency in English, German, and Spanish
- Knowledge of adversaries´ TTPs
- Experience with Kubernetes operations or similar virtualized environments
- You have collected experience in the domain of Cyber Security, Digitalization in Manufacturing and Production and Risk Management.
- Basic experience in using AI for cybersecurity.
- Further insights in upcoming regulations like NIS2 and Cyber Resilience Act plus other regulatory plans of the European Commission.
