The company provides top rental and maintenance services (leasing components for industrial equipment). The Spanish subsidiary is located in the Comunidad de Madrid.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of customers, stakeholders, and employees. The candidate will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the Group’s strategy. The primary function of the role is to deliver the agreed sales orientation as the top priority.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Provide visionary leadership and set a clear roadmap for the company. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence across teams.
- Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the company in Spain, manage sales, service, and logistics teams. Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Lead the executive committee.
- Finance: In collaboration with the country CFO, manage financial performance and ensure sustainable growth. Identify and follow up on opportunities to improve cost efficiency and generate additional revenue within the business model.
- Business Development: Lead strategic partnerships to drive growth and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and main suppliers.
- Team Development: Attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organization. Create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting and Communication: Report to the Group CEO on company performance, strategy, and financial results. Effectively communicate company results and vision to employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Managing Director in similar roles or in an operational business unit management role within a larger company (long-term leasing components for industrial equipment).
- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Bachelor's degree, MBA, or similar background.
- Fluent in Spanish and English required; additional languages (French/Portuguese) are a plus.
The role requires travel throughout Spain and internationally where the Group operates.
