• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.
• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Review and approve high-value invoices and payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of payment runs.
• Maintain and reconcile AP sub-ledger and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and handle escalated vendor inquiries.
• Negotiate payment terms and conditions with vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to AP-related SOX controls and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare and analyze AP aging reports and other relevant financial metrics.
• Provide regular updates to management on AP performance and key issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the use of AP systems and tools, ensuring they are used effectively.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the AP systems.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High English level is a must.
