Global Business Services (IT) brings together Nestlé’s two key internal service organizations: Integrated Business Services (IBS) and Information Technology (IT). Working closely with Markets, Businesses, Zones and Functions, we support Nestlé’s growth and digital transformation through the delivery of Information Technology, Operational and Management Services.
As Communications Business Partner for within Global Business Services, you will predominantly create and deliver communication to end user of IT solutions. You will report to the Head of Global Business Services Communications but work very closely with selected individual team Leads in IT Switzerland to develop and implement targeted and holistic communication strategies that have the power to inform, engage and change behaviors among selected audiences.
You will prepare effective communication leveraging a range of communications assets across several channels, such as a staff intranet, email bulletins, social media, or regular newsletters. The scope of activities in mainly targeted to 14 000 Swiss based users of Nestlé’s IT solutions, but also includes leadership comms, change communication, and campaigns. The work is hands-on you will often have end-to-end ownership of communication strategies or activities, from conception to evaluation of its effectiveness.
What You’ll Do
- Establish internal communications strategies in collaboration with relevant Stream / Team Leads to ensure stakeholders have visibility on key project and initiatives.
- Develop and produce internal communications assets such as presentations, templates, events, toolkits, and guidance for use by a network of comms enablers.
- Plan, edit, write, and work on the layout of content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, Workplace, PowerPoint presentations, videos, announcements, or newsletters.
- Ensure messages are aligned with the IT visual branding and is consistent across mediums.
- Support/design/run events and campaigns, to connect with, inform and engage audiences, using a blend of media (virtual vs physical and global vs local) and activities to provide an immersive experience and maximize engagement.
- Storyboard and translate ideas for creative communication solutions e.g., videos or infographics.
- Plan, record and edit videos when needed or work with agencies to do the same.
- Collaborate and align with Comms colleagues in IT, Markets, Corp. Comms, Zones and Functions.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Digital Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is an advantage.
- Experience in employee/internal communications or public relations.
- Excellent English copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.
- Experience in Digital communication, digital content creation and social media community management.
- Ability to identify and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability and courage to challenge requests to ensure we focus on Communication that makes a difference.
- A get-going attitude and ability to prioritize during times of higher workload.
- Ability to coach a network of comms enablers and/or individual interns.
- Ability to travel occasionally (4/6 weeks per year).
- Good understanding and experience of change management.
- French knowledge is a plus.
- Experience from promoting IT services, solutions or products is an advantage.
- Experience of collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional matrix organization.
