The Global HSE Training Leader is responsible for developing and maintaining suitable and sufficient training content, systems and tools to facilitate HSE learning solutions for Sandoz. This will include ensuring that the training is consistent, effective, engaging and relevant to the audience.

The individual will partner with other internal stakeholders and external providers to lead and facilitate both classroom and virtual HSE training and where appropriate, Train -the-Trainer sessions as well as tracking implementation of the training strategy to drive sustainable improvement while supporting other HSE activities as assigned to help build one successful HSE organization.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop HSE learning strategy and deployment across Sandoz.
• Lead the HSE training programme globally to ensure consistent implementation and execution.
• Apply learning principles in the development of new content.
• Lead standard work and leveraging of common set of technologies and methodologies.
• Drive innovation and excellence in the development of new HSE training material, incorporating new learning technologies in the adult learning setting as relevant.
• Coach and mentor HSE community to deliver robust HSE training programme.
• Remain current and/or develop competencies specific to work-scope.
• Qualify and maintain approved HSE instructors per topic area as relevant.
• Lead strategy to manage employee and third-party training records are required.
  
  

What You'll Need To Bring To The Role

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Certified Health and Safety or Environmental professional.
• Experience developing HSE training and delivering content to adult learners.
• Fluent English and solid communications skills (verbal and written). Additional languages will be valuable.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, mostly to manufacturing sites
• Qualified HSE trainer in a cross section of critical HSE topics, example High Risk Operations.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal.
• Able to coach and support key influencers to drive HSE compliance.
• Confidently able to facilitate and deliver a variety of HSE technical topics and behaviour related trainings and/or presentations to a diverse audience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities.
