We're excited about the future and have some big plans, including an enhanced social media presence. That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a part-time Video and Social Media Specialist to join our team.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production: work closely with our anchorwoman to assist in filming, setting up equipment, and ensuring smooth video shoots. You may also step in front of the camera to contribute to video content as needed (optional).
-Social Media Management: assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit and X.
- Community Engagement: monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with the audience to build an active and positive community.
- Coordinating Content Calendars: you’ll be working with our team to plan and manage our content calendars (social media and video), coordinating the necessary resources to make sure we stick to our schedules, and working with our video editors to make sure they have everything they need.
- General Marketing Tasks: help our marketing team set up lead generation, PR and email marketing campaigns, webinars and online advertising campaigns.
- Performance Tracking: track and analyze campaign performance metrics to suggest improvements and optimize future content.

🛠️ Skills we are looking for:
- Platform Expertise: an understanding of what works on YouTube and other platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), including content strategies and growth tactics to build an engaged following on each platform.
- Growth-Minded: ability to develop and implement strategies to expand reach, boost engagement, and attract followers who are genuinely interested in our content.
- Detail-Oriented & Quality-Focused: a keen eye for detail to ensure that all social media posts and video content go hand in hand with other marketing channels like our blog and the newsletter.
- Highly Organised: ability to manage content creation timelines, help the team stick to them, and anticipate needs.

✅ Your profile:
- Educational Background: ideally a degree in marketing or communications, but we're open to diverse experiences.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in video creation. Experience in social media management, content creation or a similar role is also highly valued.
- Basic familiarity with email marketing or other digital tools such as WordPress
- Fluent in English. Spanish, German or another language is a bonus.
