The General Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 9 individuals who are responsible for various projects related to central services, travel services, renting, and other facility-related tasks. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong project management abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of General Services management principles.

What are you going to do?

  • Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to the team of 9 individuals, ensuring proper allocation of resources, mentoring, and training opportunities.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects related to central services, travel services, renting, and other facility-related tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • General Service Planning and Maintenance: Develop and implement effective facility plans and maintenance procedures to enhance the overall operational efficiency, safety, and functionality of the organization's general services.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreements.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the facilities management budget, monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
  • Events and space Management: Develop and maintain an effective space utilization plan, including office layouts, seating arrangements, and allocation of resources to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Regulatory and Legal Compliance:
    • Ensure facilities and operations comply with local regulations.
    • Be aware of changes in laws and regulations that may affect operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, department heads, and employees to understand their facility-related needs, address concerns, and provide timely updates.

What does Allianz need from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in General Services management, with specific expertise in managing central services, logistics, travel services, renting, or related areas.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading a diverse team.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft O365, Power BI, and SAP MM software and other relevant tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
