Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.

• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.

• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.

• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.

• Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.

About the team

Business Amazon Website (BACOM) is a team focused on helping customers to understand Amazon Business value proposition, register and drive them towards HVAs such as activation (making the first purchase). We do that by building the site (business.amazon.com) where marketers can offer customers personalised content and measure its efficiency and customers can find the information they need.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development

- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor´s degree in computer science or equivalent

- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
