Job Title: Operating Partner
Location: Spain, France, Portugal

Job Summary: As an Operating Partner, you will play a critical role in driving the performance and growth of our portfolio companies across Spain, France, and Portugal. You will leverage your extensive operational and industry expertise to support management teams in achieving strategic objectives, enhancing operational efficiencies, and maximizing value creation. This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Company Management:
- Act as a key advisor to the management teams of portfolio companies.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, improve operational performance, and enhance profitability.
- Support the execution of value creation plans, including market expansion, product development, and operational improvements.
Operational Excellence:
- Identify and implement best practices across portfolio companies to optimize operations.
- Conduct operational assessments and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Strategic Guidance:
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and investment teams.
- Assist in the development and execution of business plans, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Support due diligence processes for new investments by assessing operational capabilities and risks.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with portfolio company management teams, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the firm and portfolio companies.
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to enhance its presence in the region.
Market Expertise:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in Spain, France, and Portugal.
- Provide insights into market opportunities and risks to inform investment decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in operational roles within private equity, mezzanine financing, or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and value creation in portfolio companies.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language relevant to the region (Spanish, French, Portuguese).
- Willingness to travel frequently within Spain, France, and Portugal.
