Business Development Engineer

Objective

To work on developing IKOS GROUP's activities in Spain, we are recruiting a Business Development Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset and initial experience in the industry (railway and/or energy field is an asset).

Main responsibilities

As Business Development Engineer, you are at the forefront of our business growth. You will transform our customers’ challenges into success while developing our presence in Spain. You provide our customers with technical solutions (a team of engineers) that are tailored to their needs. Working with the Country Manager, you will be in charge of recruiting your own team of skilful engineering consultants and coordinate with the clients' technical needs. The role will then develop into a managerial position, and you will be responsible for your own Business Unit in Spain. Some travelling will be involved to meet up with clients, prospects and consultants.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Master's degree in an engineering field (compulsory!) + an additional degree in Management and/or an entrepreneurial spirit
• Spanish is your mother tongue
• You possess strong English skills, which might sometimes be needed for international projects. Some knowledge of French is also an asset.
• You have some previous experience in the railway (preferred), energy or transportation sectors.
• You have a strong interest in projects that combine business development, technological innovation and managerial responsibilities.
