Mission statement

We are looking for a Trading Assistant - Crypto Options to join our dynamic Options desk. This role is pivotal in supporting our trading operations with a focus on crypto options, ensuring seamless integration of trading activities with accounting, reporting, and settlement processes.

For legal and security reasons, we are looking for a candidate based in UK, EU or Switzerland.

Job Description

• Trading Support: Assist traders with the execution of trades, risk management, and strategy optimization for crypto options.
• Accounting and Reporting: Option Booking: Ensure accurate booking of options trades into our systems, maintaining precision in terms of price, volume, and counterparty details.
• Settlements: Coordinate with trading counterparties for timely and accurate settlements of options trades. Monitor and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Confirmations: Handle confirmations for options trades, ensuring all parties have agreed terms and conditions documented correctly.
• Data Analysis: Develop and generate new reports, analysis, and GUI tools to aid traders in strategizing and decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Work with developers to automate processes or streamline existing workflows to increase efficiency in trading operations.
• Compliance: Ensure all trading activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal compliance policies, particularly in option trading.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams (like Operations and Product teams) as well as external parties to facilitate smooth trade operations.
  
  

Background And Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in trading or a related financial role, preferably with a focus on options or derivatives in traditional or crypto markets.
• Exposure to or understanding of blockchain technology and crypto/digital asset market dynamics is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Good Python skills, SQL queries
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with trading platforms or financial software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills; you must be able to interpret market data and financial statements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for dealing with traders, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Mindset: Curiosity about digital asset trading, market making, and the crypto options markets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
