The Purchasing Manager - Business Developer plays a key role in a new strategic plan, which envisions continued growth in the EMEA and global market.
It is a must to come with experience in trading.
He/She has the means to provide complete and appropriate solutions for every supplier to boost top-line revenue growth, supplier acquisition levels and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset and should know how to evaluate market conditions, discovering and pursuing new purchase prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining supplier`s satisfaction The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers.
You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Responsibilities Developing business relationships with new supplier's that will enable to identify growth and upgrade opportunities.
Actively seek out new purchase opportunities and develop long-term relationships with enterprise suppliers prospects through cold calling, networking and social media.
Constantly stay up to date with market news in all categories.
Identify profitable product development opportunities.
Prospecting, search and negotiation from/with suppliers.
Increase company's supplier base and ensure its strong presence.
Track all orders in progress with staff and team.
Present frequent reports and reviews of purchase, expenses and forecasts to the Director.
Process information to perform numerical analyzes that generate the best cost-benefit of the existing and potential customers.
Responsible for meeting assigned quota, regular updating supplier relationship.
Expedite the resolution of supplier`s problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field; Master/MBA will be considered a plus.
Substantial scope within European B2B companies for lifestyle goods; other markets and categories experience will be considered a plus.
Proactivity, persuasive, strong analytical skills.
Proven working experience in purchase and business development in categories such as lifestyle, fashion, beauty, FMCG products.
Language skills: Must be proficient in English and either Spanish or French are a plus.
Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office, Advanced Excel skills is a must.
Effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
High communication and interpersonal skills, persuasive ability while negotiating.
Autonomous, commercially aggressive and results oriented.
Ability to evaluate offers and to make decisions.
Self-motivated and the ability to excel with minimum supervision.
