About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Commercial to develop and implement our commercial strategy, focusing on high-value contracts funded by International Financial Institutions (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc.). The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team, drive business expansion, and ensure a competitive edge in global consultancy and engineering bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for IFI-funded projects and private sector clients.
• Lead complex bidding processes, securing high-value contracts (over €10M in the last five years).
• Expand our global client base, identifying and developing new opportunities in Renewable Energy and T&D.
• Provide strategic insights on commercial operations and ensure competitiveness in bids and offerings.
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive commercial success and market expansion.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and CRM tracking for all commercial activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven track record in managing IFI-funded consultancy and engineering contracts.
• Strong leadership skills, guiding sales teams and influencing commercial strategy.
• Deep industry expertise in Renewable Energy, Transmission & Distribution, and consultancy services.
• Commercial acumen, with hands-on experience managing bids over €1M.
• Fluent English (C1+), with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility to travel and manage extended working hours when necessary.
