The Temporary Global Marketing Director at Schiller International University will be responsible for driving innovative marketing strategies to enhance the university’s global presence during a maternity leave coverage period. This role is key to maintaining and elevating the university’s position as a leader in higher education by attracting a diverse, talented international student body. The director will oversee both digital and traditional marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic goals, while maintaining a focus on cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. By leading a team and executing impactful marketing campaigns, the Temporary Global Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in sustaining the university’s global image and supporting its mission of delivering world-class education to students worldwide.
Your profile
- Support Sales and Lead Generation: Assist in supporting sales efforts and digital lead generation to meet institutional goals. Experience in digital marketing is valued.
- Marketing Strategy and Leadership: Oversee the marketing department, evaluate and continue the development of digital marketing strategies and plans to strengthen the university’s position in the global education market during the maternity leave period.
- Planning and Coordination: Direct and coordinate marketing efforts, ensuring campaigns are aligned with the university’s goals and objectives.
- Market Research: Conduct research on demand for the university’s programs, competitor analysis, and market trends.
- Collaboration with Sales: Work with the sales department to maintain and develop effective pricing strategies that maximize both profits and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Target Identification: Identify potential target audiences and develop lead generation campaigns to attract them.
- Budget Management: Understand and manage budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment (ROI), and profit-loss projections.
- Brand Awareness and Positioning: Maintain and build the university’s brand awareness and positioning in the international education market.
- Event Management: Organize company conferences, trade shows, and major events to promote the university.
- Social Media and Content Strategy: Oversee social media marketing strategies and content creation to engage the university’s audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
- Proven marketing campaign experience.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage budgets.
- Professional and proactive work ethic.
- High competence in project and stakeholder management.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluent English
