Job description

We are seeking a Business Development and Project Manager (BD/PM) to work closely with the CEO and play a central role in shaping and executing Integra’s corporate strategy and business development activities. The ideal candidate will oversee a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities, managing critical relationships with stakeholders, and supporting the CEO in the preparation of high-quality corporate materials, investor presentations, and strategic business plans. 

The role also involves leading grant writing and reporting processes to secure non-dilutive funding, monitoring project milestones for reporting purposes, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. 

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for competitive intelligence analysis, continuously updating and maintaining competitive landscape maps to inform business decisions, identify market trends, and monitor developments in the cell and gene therapy space.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in managing investor relations, fundraising activities, and business development CRM systems, ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up of leads and opportunities. 

This dynamic role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities 

• Grant Writing & Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications and reports, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and organizational goals.
• Corporate Material Preparation: Create high-quality corporate materials, investor decks, and partnering presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.
• Support Corporate Strategy: Work alongside the CEO to implement strategic initiatives, fundraising activities, and partnership development.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities and partnerships to drive innovation, manage BD CRM systems to track leads and opportunities, and support the fundraising activities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, potential partners, and investors.
• Competitive Landscape Analysis:
• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Prepare and update competitive intelligence maps to inform business and strategic decisions.
• Monitor emerging technologies, fundraising activities, and key players in the gene and cell therapy sectors to identify opportunities for collaboration and differentiation.

Requirements 

• Education: MSc required; PhD in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one or multiple of the following: biotech business development, project management, technology transfer, life sciences venture capital, or executive consultancy.
• Proven success in grant writing and reporting, with experience in securing significant funding.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environment and handling multiple work streams
• Familiarity with competitive intelligence mapping, industry research, and strategic analysis.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Creating compelling presentation materials

• English (Fluent - Mandatory)
