Our client, a German company in the pharmaceutical/medical devices sector is currently seeking a Security Analyst.

The main responsibilities as a Security Analyst in our CDC (Cyber Defense Center) Department will be:
- Monitoring and investigating security events and alerts.
- Collaborating with the incident response team to promptly address security incidents.
- Conducting proactive threat hunting and collaborating with the red team to simulate real-world attacks.
- Coordinating incident handling efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Developing and maintaining incident response procedures.
- Collaborating with external penetration testers or conducting internal penetration tests.
- Identifying and prioritizing system vulnerabilities.
- Coordinating vulnerability scanning and patch management efforts.
- Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to security operations.
- Monitoring compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with security tools, such as SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, etc.).
- Permanent Contract (End Client).
