The Role

Survitec is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our marine team in sunny Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will champion our commitment to customer satisfaction by managing the end-to-end customer process globally, handling orders, inquiries, and complaints. You will foster strong relationships with key customers and sales staff while serving as a vital communication link.

Leveraging your knowledge of our products, services, and sales territories, you will provide exceptional support and ensure seamless customer interactions. Your ability to assess and respond to customer needs with sensitivity and professionalism will be key to success in this role.

Key responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide detailed product and service information, addressing complex customer inquiries with expertise and accuracy.
  • Process and manage orders, including custom and special requests, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Proactively engage with assigned customers through calls and other communication channels to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Handle advanced issue escalations efficiently, securing managerial approvals when necessary.
  • Schedule follow-up actions and maintain accurate customer records in the system to support retention strategies and business development efforts.

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in the marine or aviation industry
  • Familiarity with ERP and IFS systems
