About the role

Reporting to the Project Support Manager, the Project Support analyst role is a key part of our solution delivery team. They will support our portfolio and project managers across the entire portfolio with all aspects of project initiation and closure.

This will include supporting in the production of progress reports, risk and issues logs, financial tracking and resource management plans.

What you’ll do
  • Assist Portfolio Managers in the production of highlight reports and other key project documentation.
  • Support in the rollout and embedding of project management methodologies and processes across both internal and external teams.
  • Support all project managers in the team with the compilation and regular updating of control logs incl. risk register and issue log.
  • Ensure central document repository is managed and up to date.
  • Ensure project management tooling is maintained and kept up to date.
  • Support Project Managers, enabling them to raise finance requisition orders, purchase orders and process invoices.
  • Ensure all contractual details are tracked and actioned within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain resource utilisation measures to enable effective management of portfolio demand and capacity.
  • Organize project meetings as and when required.
  • Take meeting notes as and when required.

What you’ll bring to IAG Cargo:

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience of using project, programme and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, Portfolio for Jira, SAP PPM, MS PPM, HP PPM, Primavera).

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working in the Logistics, Freight, Courier industry.
  • Experience of major technology and business change programs

  • Displays confidence and resilience, plus an energy to deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
