OVERALL MISSION
The Global Retail Excellence Manager has the responsibility of ensuring that BEL is able to capture market growth opportunities by ensuring flawless in store execution across all retail channels.
- In Store Execution of sales fundamentals
- In Store Execution of core activations
- In Store Execution of Innovations.
The Global Retail Excellence Manager reports to the Chief Growth Capability Officer to ensure that Bel builds an edge at Point of Sale and that our Sales Team is equipped with needed skills and tools to help them Win and make a difference.
The Global Retail Excellence Manager is expected to work in partnership with the Global Category Director to ensure that our in-store execution plans are in line with our category vision and category growth strategy. He or she are expected to provide the needed inputs to ensure that our category plans are executed based on customers’ needs and retail context.
The Global Retail Excellence Manager is also expected to work with the capability team to ensure that Bel sales force is equipped with needed tools to track and monitor sales fundamentals. He or she are expected to deliver the needed programs to upskill our execution capabilities and win in store. This includes identifying growth opportunities by bridging execution gaps in terms of: Distribution, Visibility, Assortment and POS execution.
The Global Retail Excellence manager leads POS catalogue and coordinate with the Category Team and the brand team to ensure that our POS are in line with our Category and Brand strategy in order to enable and drive growth.

- Sales transformation : Envision future stakes, challenges & opportunities with upfront leadership, ability to think out of the box, take initiatives but also step back on topics (engagement, networking, entrepreneurship, strategic thinking)
- Execution mastery : Strive for superior customers relationships and perfect in store execution of Bel’s strategy focused on effective selling, optimal route to market and win/win/win negotiation
- Category excellence : expertise in business drivers to win in stores and foster 3C growth plans, strong ability to nurture category vision with integrated joint business planning with customers (category management, perfect store drive, initiative planning)
- Market dynamic proficiency : Comprehensive understanding of external challenges and arising trends to foresee, elevate ability to understand channels, customers, shoppers, competition and trends based on data insights, market knowledge and field experience
- Embody the Bel Winning Behavior : drive and accelerate transformation, demonstrate agility, dare to innovate, unconditional collaboration, unleash & develop talents.
Past experience in sales strategy and planning, trade marketing/category management,
- In-depth knowledge of Performance Analysis and Planning
- Knowledge of Trade Marketing & Sales
- Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals and ability to identify growth opportunities related to distribution and visibility optimization.
- Good understanding of customers (across various channels): their challenges and how to contribute to their growth.
- Proven analytical skills – ability to interpret large amounts of data and arrange / present in a simple and effective format, providing facts-based insights and recommendations
- Flexibility, able to quickly undertake and solve issues
- Excellent communication skills; ability to persuade and influence
- Ability to lead and manage projects with cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Understanding of budget management and business case development
- Strong team player; eager to learn and support all areas
- Motivated by upskilling capabilities and elevating organizational standards.
- Strong self-starting capabilities
- Excellent knowledge of the business and the market, ability to be a business partner
