Our planet 🌎 cannot sustain our current food system; therefore, we believe in producing exceptional alternative products to remove the current strain on our environment and ensure food security for our future ever-growing population.
We are looking for an Operations intern to set up our first-of-a-kind pilot plant and associated operations.

We are looking for an Operations intern to set up our first-of-a-kind pilot plant and associated operations.
Tasks
- Help us to define and solve operational challenges, blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality
- Strategic thinking means: How shall the supply chain look like? Where shall goods be stored, respecting limited shelf life? How does this impact the risk of contamination? Etc.
- Hands-on practicality means: Find a space where we can build our pilot (make appointments to visit), develop short lists of machinery suppliers and test the machinery, etc.
- Compare and introduce ERP systems matching our company size
- When it comes down to it, you extinguish fires in our day-to-day business, learn from problems that arise and find long-term solutions
- Act and work independently and responsibly, but also get support in all areas you need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in business, operations, logistics, or related
- Fascination behind the production and distribution of physical products.
- You have worked for money before (do not apply if you did not). Previous work experience or internships are a strong plus.
- Initial experience in working on an operational topic (e.g. supply chain, purchasing, lean services, manufacturing, etc.) are a plus
- A track record of motivation to learn, getting stuff done (!), and being proactive, e.g., participating in university clubs or running side projects
- Handling a high degree of ownership and self-management; being a team player
- Fluency in English (other than English, it is a strong plus to speak Spanish at B2+ lev
- Responsibility from Day 1 to help you grow in an exciting project
- You will work cross-disciplinary in a multicultural team based in the heart of Barcelona
