The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team sits within Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing, developing & rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions & divisions globally and help our brands accelerate organic growth
The role has two main purposes:
- Champion the vision for Ecosystem digital products (enabled by the MarTech suite), through multi-division user journeys, by working closely with the business, UX, Chief Brand and Experience Office and Finance teams globally to define the overarching user experience, clear KPIs, measurement frameworks, governance and prioritization guidelines to operationalize and scale Ecosystem initiatives.
- Oversee the portfolio of Ecosystem digital products, keeping a holistic view of progress, opportunities, results. Be responsible for providing regular updates to the business and Product stakeholders, sync with cross-product deployment plans, support yearly planning.
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our MarTech product suite by bridging the gap between product development, sales execution, and ecosystem strategy. This individual will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, while also ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively sell and position the product across various ecosystem use cases.
This person will act as the champion for digitalizing our Petcare divisions, promote a unified, cohesive pet-owner experience across the Mars Petcare ecosystem, by showing consistent KPIs, impact measurement and solid governance principles.
The PM will drive cross-functional alignment by being the voice of the customer, the ambassador of the product team and the go-to lead to hear the business and work with them to support new growth opportunities
What are we looking for?
- Qualification to a degree level or equivalent experience
- Strategy & Operations at Tech/Digital companies
- Product Management experience
- Great written and verbal communication
- Previous marketing leadership experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop and execute the product strategy, aligning with the goals of individual divisions globally and the Ecosystem strategy.
- Identify opportunities and challenges within the MarTech ecosystem, as we define the 2025 Ecosystem roadmap and market prioritization.
- Create and Manage a library of Product Requirement Documents as a source of truth and database of Ecosystem journeys to both monitor existing initiatives and act as reference for new implmentations;
- Work with UX to define product vision, requirements and features based on user testing, business & user insights, and ecosystem use cases.
- Manage a central backlog and work with the Product scrum masters to prioritize this across Product backlogs (CRM, CDP, DAM, etc),
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product suite is well-suited for various ecosystem scenarios, including multi-brand strategies.
- Establish an Ecosystem governance and operating rhythm globally, to orchestrate new pilots, set criteria and requirements for test set up and measurement and centrally track outcomes.
- Define a cohesive narrative, in close partnership with the Brand Experience team, to promote Ecosystem User Journeys across divisions, share best practices and scale successful pilots.
- Feed insights back to the Product Leadership team, to incorporate Ecosystem updates into recurring CDO updates and Petcare steerco.
