Selection Criteria
- Biochemistry, Biology or related areas.
- Proven experience in molecular biology, protein expression-purification, protein biochemistry as well as exposure to structural biology.
- Technical knowledge and experience in other complementary disciplines such as cellular biology and signaling will be very positively valued.
- Good lab technical skills and abilities, versatile and multifaceted researcher able to multitask.
- Technical skills:
- Molecular biology (cloning and mutagenesis).
- Tissue culture (insect cells and cancer cell lines).
- Protein expression in different heterologous systems (bacterial and/or insect cells using baculovirus) and purification affinity, size-exclusion and ionic-exchange chromatography.
- Protein biochemistry (WBs and phosphorylation assays) and biophysics (enzymatic assays, DSF, calorimetry, AUC).
- Good level of English speaking and writing.
- Detailed documentation of all experimental work is essential.
- Good communication and Team work skills.
