You will be the leader for Vertice's procurement service, building a foundation of trust and robust action plans with key, strategic customers in Southern Europe.

We need an exceptional leader with the shared language and gravitas to work with finance & procurement Execs.

Develop and communicate a global Procurement vision and strategy2.

Set and track team & individual performance against regional procurement goals3.

Inspire and develop a high performance procurement4.

Develop personalised procurement strategies for major accounts5.

Coach teams to identify and pursue high-impact procurement opportunities6.

Collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer journey satisfaction7.

Develop specific procurement playbooks to keep consistency at scale8.

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans and negotiate complex SaaS deals9.

Manage key SaaS partner relationships, particularly for our largest spend areas10.

Implement sourcing strategies, balancing innovation and best practice11.

Lead cross-functional teams to implement effective SRM strategiesRequirements:1.

The role is located in Madrid or Barcelona2.

Professional background in Strategic Sourcing, Project Management, Procurement, Vendor Management, or a related discipline in Consulting3.

Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and knowledge of the ecosystem4.

Passionate about the value of great customer service – you seek and have consistently achieved extraordinary results as part of a high energy and dynamic team for and mid-sized customers5.

You are a clear, confident and compelling communicator — in writing, in conversation and in front of customers6.

Superb listening skills and the ability to dig deeper to uncover the customer's true objectives7.

You are an expert project manager who can manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure all key objectives and timelines are met8.
