This position is part of a portfolio that develops digital products within the digital marketing and sales area, specifically focused on the online sales of Porsche vehicles.
You will join our vibrant, international, and fully dedicated product team, whose mission is to make the global Porsche.com website an outstanding digital luxury experience for our customers. Together, we aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable digital journey, guiding users to the right model, product, or service.
What Are We Looking For
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Cloud services to bridge the gap between development, operations, and product strategy.
The ideal candidate has transitioned from a hands-on development, or technical lead role into product ownership and is passionate about delivering scalable, efficient, and high-performing technical solutions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, CI /CD, cloud solutions, and system reliability.
What You Will Do
- You will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our applications and infrastructure. Collaborating closely with product, operations, and security teams, you will automate and streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and ensure the scalability of our platforms.
- This role requires a strong background in software engineering, systems administration, and cloud technologies, with a focus on Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- As the owner of the WWW subdomain of the global Porsche website, you will empower and support our product teams in delivering their applications quickly, securely, and autonomously.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the delivery infrastructure for the Porsche.com ecosystem by implementing and optimizing our cloud architecture for durability, quality, and scalability. Following DevOps principles, you will focus on writing maintainable code, reusability of infrastructure and components, and continuously deploying our software to both test and production environments.
- Development and implementation of backend services and APIs, as well as integration of external systems.
- Persistent work to create and sustain premium ‘Porsche-like’ quality and security of our product through modern quality tools and processes.
- This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, a commitment to agile principles, and a proactive, collaborative attitude. Sharing knowledge and proactively pairing are part of our core principles. It also includes documenting important architectural decisions, as well as any other crucial information about tools, processes, and the implementation of new libraries.
- Experience in Software and Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience as Product Owner and strong understanding about Agile principles.
- A master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proficiency in developing resilient, cloud-first applications on AWS , with expertise in AWS services such as ECS , Lambda, CloudFront, and S3, as well as Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of software security best practices, including threat assessment and secure programming methodologies.
- You have a keen interest in automated testing and TDD .
- Experience with API management systems, API Design and RESTful services.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Terraform CDK .
- Expertise with CI/CD.
- Familiarity with the three pillars of observability: metrics, logs, and traces (e.g., using tools like New Relic and Splunk).
- Experience with the Secure Software Development Lifecycle ( SDLC ).
- You are a team player, being part of an agile team, actively taking care of team culture and the product value for our customers.
- You are a great communicator, with tech and non-tech people.
- Our company language is English, so you should speak it fluently.
