We are currently seeking a Research Assistant to join a research team called "Charting political ideological landscapes in Europe: Fault lines and opportunities (POL-AXES)" in the Departments of Mathematics and Quantitative Methods of CUNEF University. This project have been funded by BBVA Fundation and the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Durham University (UK) and the Department of Economic Analysis of UPV/EHU also are part of this project.

The project focuses on analyzing opinion surveys, including cleaning and organizing databases, running programs in Python and R, and presenting results. Additionally, the position involves conducting literature reviews and contributing to research projects.

• Maintain and execute code in Python and R (experience with Stata is a plus).
• Perform statistical analyses at undergraduate level.
• Assist in the preparation of research results (summaries, visualizations, etc.).

This position is ideal for Master’s or Ph.D. students or graduates in Quantitative Methods, Statistics, or related fields, especially those interested in social science research.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in programming with Python and R.
• Interest in empirical research and working with large datasets.

• Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time (with flexible arrangements available).
