We are Anchor Point Studios and we’re looking for a Hard Surface Artist to help us build the future of mind-blowing video game entertainment for a new, innovative 3D action title.

About The Role

• Create high-quality, optimized 3D hard surface assets, which may include : vehicles, weapons, machinery, props, and architecture, adhering to project specifications and art direction.
• Craft stylized textures and materials using industry-standard software, ensuring assets maintain visual fidelity across platforms.
• Work closely with concept artists, animators, and the technical team to ensure assets align with gameplay requirements and design visions.
• Ensure models are optimized for performance without sacrificing visual quality, following technical guidelines for polycount, UV layouts, and LODs.
• Conduct research to gather appropriate references, ensuring accuracy and appeal in asset creation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset functionality in Unreal Engine.
• Maintain a clean, efficient workflow, adhering to the studio’s pipeline and ensuring assets integrate seamlessly into the production process.
• Work alongside outsource team, best practices within the studio and communicating that to our external partners
  
  

About You

• Experience working on AAA titles.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation for modeling.
• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of current trends in hard surface art
• Strong understanding of PBR techniques and how it relates to stylised art
