Bank Julius Baer is building a Global CLM (Client Lifecycle Management) Platform to be used in all its Processing Hubs and Booking Centres for Client Onboarding and Lifecycle Management. The Business Analyst serves as the connector between business and development teams and translates business needs into technical requirements for the development teams in an agile environment.

The Global CLM Platform is a multi-year program built in-house and includes processes like Partner and Account opening, KYC, Lead & Prospect Management, Client Investment Profile, Periodic Client Reviews, Client Risk Management, and Document Management, in accordance with global business needs and local regulations.

The Business Analyst for the Global-CLM implementation will be responsible for the derivation of business requirements that are feasible to be integrated into the global CLM application. This requires coordination with business stakeholders as well as gaining a profound understanding of structures, the organisation’s business and operating model, and the applicable regulatory requirements.

YOUR CHALLENGE

- Analyse needs and issues of the organisation or business domain.
- Specify and document new business processes or systems.
- Feasible integration of the business processes and needs into technical solutions (considering time and budget constraints) that enable the Scrum team to meet its objectives.
- Align with (senior) business stakeholders to understand structures, the organisation’s business and operating model, and the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Validate the fulfilment of business requirements by elaborating test cases, test procedures, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure appropriate involvement of relevant business stakeholders throughout the whole project lifecycle.

YOUR PROFILE

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software delivery projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology (e.g. SAFe) and experience of partnering with IT in a Scrum setup.
- Proficiency in Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
- Good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re-engineering.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in finding operational synergies and performing impact analysis on business models, tools, and processes.
- Experienced in working with DevOps.
- Experienced in applying testing methodologies, especially functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience in the private banking and global wealth management industry with a strong delivery record is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Enthusiastic collaborator and team player with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and hands-on personality, comfortable in driving and managing change as well as challenging the status quo.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Track record of prioritizing and making trade-offs by objectively evaluating opportunities vs. potential pitfalls. Demonstrated data-driven decision making.
- Ability to think pragmatically and drive execution of concepts. Analyse, prioritise, resolve issues, and take decisions during challenging times.
- Experience working in a global environment with distributed teams.
- Fluent in English (oral and written) is a must, and fluent Spanish is highly beneficial.
