We´re a team of 40+ User Experience Research professionals at Oracle NetSuite working on the foundational elements of the NetSuite product experience. We´re part of a larger community of 175+ Experience Designers, Content Designers, UI and Visual Designers, Technical Writers, Videographers, Design Strategists, and connected professionals across Oracle NetSuite. We collaborate closely with the NetSuite leadership team under Evan Goldberg and contribute to Oracle´s award-winning Redwood design system.

What We´re Looking For

Come and join us as an experienced Director of UX Research in Barcelona. You´ll lead a team of 6+ researchers focused on crafting the next-generation product experience for NetSuite. Your team will be focused on the Foundational NetSuite products that enable customers to customize, administer, and support internationalization efforts. Your group will be influential in contributing to the strategy of these priorities, the iteration of products through the delivery cycle, and measuring the end user´s experience while recommending areas of future investment.

You´ll lead efforts to evolve research strategy, methodologies, and practices as we continue to scale, ensuring research is well-integrated into our product development decision-making. Your focus will be to deliver impactful research insights to support the product teams´ vision and strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a mixture of research mentor, process optimizer, and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will be operating in a large, matrixed organization, partnering with VP and Director-level stakeholders across product management, engineering, design, and research. We´re especially keen to talk to candidates with a strong background in developing employees and working alongside senior leaders to influence the future roadmap. You will have operational support from the Design Operations team, but a strong operational mindset will come in handy alongside your research leadership skills. - You are data-driven, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to build a strong case for continuous improvement.
- You can collaborate with and influence your product and design partners and other leaders across the product group to become increasingly user-centered in everything we do, from strategies to roadmaps and planning.

Qualifications / Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a user experience professional, preferably in the Enterprise domain or business software.
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and execs, and advocating for critical research practices and insights to be adopted and to inform product decisions.
- Extensive experience planning and completing different types of research - from generative, formative to evaluative and measurement research.
- Experience leading teams of 5+.
- Experienced at developing researchers into influential product team members.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and skilled at impactful storytelling.
