What You'll Do

As a Product Designer with a focus on User Interface (UI), you will play a crucial role in crafting visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces for our platform while contributing to the marketing team with creative assets for social media. Your responsibilities will include:

• UI Design: Create pixel-perfect user interfaces in Figma, ensuring they are consistent, modern, and aligned with our design system.
• Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes in Figma to showcase ideas and validate designs with internal stakeholders and users.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers to bring designs to life and ensure feasibility.
• Design System: Contribute to maintaining and expanding the design system to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints.
• Marketing Support: Design visual content for social media channels (e.g., Instagram creatives, LinkedIn posts, banners, and ads) in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Creativity for Social Media: Ideate and execute engaging graphics and templates to elevate Genesy’s social media presence and brand consistency.
• Feedback Iteration: Incorporate feedback from usability testing and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve UI and marketing designs.
• Assets and Handoffs: Prepare and deliver design assets, documentation, and specifications for development and marketing, ensuring smooth workflows.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Junior Product Designer with a passion for both product UI design and marketing creativity. Our ideal candidate has:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing UI design projects and creative social media assets (internship experience counts!).
• Figma Expertise: Strong proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and collaboration.
• Marketing Design Skills: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva for creating marketing graphics and templates.
• UI Design Strength: Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Creativity for Social Media: Ability to design engaging content tailored for platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Attention to Detail: An obsession with polished, pixel-perfect designs and consistency across screens and assets.
• Communication: Ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
