MANDATORY SKILLS:

* A strong grasp of programming fundamentals, algorithms and data structures and experience in languages such as Python and SQL variations (Hive, Impala, PostgreSQL).

* Knowledge of Data Science techniques with evidence of using them on data across supervised & unsupervised learning business problems.
* Technical understanding of most commonly used algorithms – Linear Regressions, Random Forests, SVMs, KNN, K-means, etc.
* Experience of productionising machine learning models and creating business impact.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field, or substantial practical experience of software delivery at an advanced level.


NICE TO HAVE:

* Working knowledge of the following libraries: numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit learn, matplotlib, seaborn.
*
DevOps experience in areas such as Git and Agile development methods aswell as exposure to cloud computing services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure etc) is beneficial.
* Degree level or equivalent in a numerical subject such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering.
* Experience in practical big data processing (Hadoop), data visualization & information retrieval.

* Experience in Generative AI, Prompt engineering, AWS.
