Our Data Crew, a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and platform experts, is shaping the future of real estate by delivering scalable, data-driven solutions that help millions of users find their dream homes.
About the Role
We’re seeking an Experienced Data Scientist to lead the development and evolution of end-to-end data products with a strong foundation on AI and ML solutions. You’ll tackle real business challenges, from optimizing internal operations to enhancing customer-facing features, while collaborating with stakeholders to design impactful solutions. Working alongside skilled engineers and fellow Data Scientists, you’ll deploy scalable, automated products that deliver measurable value.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record of at least three end-to-end ML/AI projects successfully deployed into production, demonstrating measurable impact and scalability.
- Core Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Python with strong applied experience in ML & AI.
- Deep Learning (NLP & Computer Vision): Experience fine-tuning LLMs, training image-based models and working with transformers and other traditional architectures (CNNs, RNNs).
- Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Experience deploying ML models via APIs (e.g., BentoML, FastAPI, DVC) and integrating into production systems
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLFlow, DVC, Docker).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to translate business problems into effective data solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain both technical and business concepts.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving tools and processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with low level Pytorch/Tensorflow implementation of Deep Learning architectures
- Experience with prompt optimization using frameworks such as DSPY
- Familiarity with anti-fraud systems to ensure platform integrity, knowledge on search engines or expertise in online marketplace dynamics.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and design data-driven solutions that directly address key business objectives.
- Query and prepare data from our extensive data lake, leveraging SQL and other tools to create high-quality datasets.
- Co-lead the design of data annotation initiatives with Product Managers to ensure high-quality, labeled datasets that drive the development of robust, data-centric machine learning solutions.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and analytics pipelines that scale effectively.
- Work with engineers to ensure robust deployment and automation of solutions using tools like dbt, dvc, Airflow, BentoML and MLFlow.
- Apply KISS principles to design simple, impactful solutions that prioritize reliability and maintainability.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for data-driven improvements and prototype innovative solutions.
