At Kantox, we are looking for a KYC & Onboarding intern to join our Compliance team to be part of the dynamic, day to day problem solving team, help with daily tasks, such as KYC recertification on existing clients, Onboarding of new clients and solving general requests sent by our Commercial teams.

About the team

The Compliance team plays a relevant role in ensuring that Kantox meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining industry best practices. As regulatory expectations evolve and our business integrates further within BNP Paribas, the demand for robust compliance oversight, proactive risk management, and efficient team leadership has increased significantly.

Given the regulatory importance of these activities and their direct impact on client activation and risk management, temporary coverage is essential to maintain operational standards and meet internal and external expectations.

Your mission within Kantox

We are looking for a KYC and Onboarding Compliance Intern to support the Compliance function.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced fintech environment. 

You will contribute to the onboarding of new clients, KYC refresh cycles, and the remediation of audit findings while ensuring policies and procedures remain aligned with regulatory expectations.

In this position, you will interact with the following departments:

• Client Transaction Services (Ops)
• Cash Management and Settlements (Ops)
• Customer Success
• Finance 
• Compliance & Risk
• Technology

Who you are

• A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or student in Law, Finance, Economics or similar;
• General interest and enthusiasm for Financial Markets;
• MS Excel proficiency is a must, experience and interest in SQL is considered a plus

• Fluent English language skills; Spanish is considered a plus
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and prioritising deliverables. 
• Critical thinker, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
