Hello! We are Samara, the solar installation startup that goes beyond self-consumption. We are here to accelerate the energy transition of households towards a more efficient, smarter and more sustainable model.

We are a high-growth startup that, above all, prioritizes people and the planet. We've just raised a €11 million financing round led by technology and sustainability-focused european funds. This capital increase will help us to continue our growth path and develop new products and services, so our team is constantly growing. We are now looking to expand our Energy Managers team.

In line with our values, at Samara we firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is a major source of carbon emissions in developed countries. We are optimistic by nature and believe that a different way of doing things is possible: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management.

What are you going to do? 🌱

At Samara we have Energy Advisors (there are several roles open!) and Energy Managers / Project Managers. Energy Advisors are in charge of understanding the potential customer in order to make the best-personalised offer and close the deal. The Energy Managers are in charge of coordinating all the next steps with the different teams that make it possible to get the installation ready after signing the contract.

At Samara we do not outsource any part of the process, so the Energy Manager is the conductor of a great customer experience towards the energy transition of your home.

Role

If you join Samara, you will be part of the initial team of Energy Managers. These will be some of your roles:

• Be the point of reference and trust for the customer from the moment the Energy Advisor closes the contract and ensure the customer experience is seamless.
• Coordinate the EPG (Engineering, Permitting and Grants), operations and installer teams to ensure everything is in place before, during and after the installation.
• Provide constant feedback to the team of Energy Advisors and Energy Managers.
• Assist in improving the whole process from the time the installation contract is signed with Samara until the installation is completed and commissioned.
• Create strong links with the rest of the team to ensure that Samara works as one team.
• Help build a single company-wide culture as we redefine the energy industry forever.
  
  

What do you need? ☀️

• Organization: you are an organized person, with a high ability to collaborate and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to dive into new topics & problem solving: you are able to tackle challenges you have not seen before and independently research how to solve them
• Relationship management: you are passionate about dealing with customers, listening to them and finding creative solutions to issues that may arise during the project’s journey.
• Accountability: you enjoy making an opportunity your own and pursue it to completion
• You put people first: you are in line with Samara's cultural values and put people first.
• You are flexible: startups always require iterations. We will make mistakes, but we learn quickly from them.
• You adapt easily: you feel like a fish in water working in a fast-paced environment and you manage uncertainty well.
• Experience: we highly value previous experience in customer success and project management, but not necessarily within the energy sector. We will be happy to tailor your onboarding to your previous knowledge of the sector.
