We seek a Project Manager to contribute to the GMEG’s growth and help us maintain our leading position at the international level.

The Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology Group (GMEG) at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) is a multidisciplinary team that focuses on both methodological and applied aspects of research into the genetic and environmental etiology of bladder, pancreatic, breast, and lung cancers. We aim to model the factors involved in cancer risk and clinical course by integrating epidemiologic, genetic, omics, and clinical data. The group leads and participates in several large international consortia, leading in the design, implementation and analysis of association studies of these diseases. We need a project manager to make all managerial processes more efficient in close collaboration with the CNIO administrative departments.

Selection Criteria

• PhD degree, Master's degree, or similar in Biomedical Sciences.
• Previous success in scientific project management.
• Proven success working with all levels of management.
• Hands-on experience with scientific projects, preferably on cancer genetics and epidemiology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
• Microsoft office software Databases Knowledge of R will be considered.
• Excellent knowledge of English
