TITLE: Project Manager Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTING TO: Director Project Coordination
OFFICE LOCATION: Madrid, Spain
Role Overview
Working as part of the Global Project Coordination team to support delivery of networking projects. Coordinating service delivery tasks across IPC customers, IPC internal teams and external suppliers. Reporting on the status of tasks and managing the interdependencies between them to deliver first class customer service.
- Working on both internal and external projects
- Management and ownership of service delivery tasks from order receipt to customer handover and bill release
- New services
- Changes to existing services
- Cease of services
- Working with internal teams, vendors and customers to gather the information required for order delivery
- Managing the interdependences between tasks and deliverables
- Data management in Delivery Systems
- Generating tasks in workflow systems
- Maintaining service data in service database
- Working with customer billing and vendor cost information
- Creating bill items
- Maintaining bill forecast dates
- Releasing billing to customers
- Supporting internal teams and customer with answering billing queries
- Placing and managing orders with vendors to IPC
- Adding and removing TDM services on the IPC network
- Internal and external reporting
- Risk management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of project delivery coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of coordinating project deliverables within multiple task owners across a number of teams
- Ability to prioritise along critical path to meet project milestones and deliverable dates
- Excellent reporting skills – including MS Excel
- Able to demonstrate successful teamworking
- Experience of project delivery within Financial Markets and/or Telecoms & Networking Solutions a definite advantage
- Oracle Metasolv system (although training will be provided)
- Ability to coordinate service delivery on some projects – mini projects – take solutions designed.
- Problem solving
- Prioritize and understand how to coordinate the projects
- Delivering projects, services, network solutions
- Non engineering certification (not technical profiles), but to understand how it works and what they mean.
- No need to having previously worked for financial markets – but it will be a plus
- Project management certifications PMP and Prince will be a plus.
