🤓 About The Opportunity

The position of CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST in clinical trials will report to Thinkers Manager. The position’s main objective will be to analyze, review and provide accurate information of oncology drugs in clinical development, pipelines of companies, while analyzing unmet needs in oncology as periodical information to provide to the thinkers’ team and MEDSIR’s network of PI. This position will have transversal tasks, among whom coordinating execution of marketing campaign before conferences.

🚀 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Analyze and identify companies that could need clinical development strategies, examining risks and potential of future collaborations, and estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Identify niches of interest for new clinical trials development across multiple pharma companies and lower sizes companies.
  • Prepare slide set detailing molecular mechanisms, ongoing & competitive clinical trials supporting the discussion with MEDSIR’s PIs.
  • Coordinate, execute & analyze conferences campaign.
  • Explore new areas of clinical development for MEDSIR (e.g. melanoma, hematology and pediatric oncology).
  • Propose, establish, and maintain relationships with stakeholders in independent clinical research, such as Private Foundations or Public Funds.
  • Provide support in the design and development of scientific, operational, and market-based documentation including abstracts, posters, protocols, presentations, market analysis reports, articles, etc.
  • Present to relevant stakeholders scientific, operational, and market-based documentation.
  • Collaborate in specific forums, media, and publications to position the company's branding highlighting the added value and differential.


💪 WHAT DO WE VALUE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

  • A university degree in a health-related field.
  • A PhD is highly desired.
  • Previous oncology knowledge (at least at the preclinical level).
  • Have exposure/understanding of the drug and clinical development process, preferably in the field of oncology.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including life sciences companies, KOLs and PIs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Proactivity and willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting.
  • High-level English required.
  • Proficient computer skills, and ability and willingness to work through mainly digital tools.
